Novel (in progress) Summary:
A young woman, angry and despairing at ever having a close relationship with her father, and dismayed at being stuck in a dead-end job, determines to go abroad for a year despite the attention of a new suitor. The trip unexpectedly opens a door to her father’s hidden and dangerous past in China.
Soon she is faced with terrible dilemma: Will she risk everything to delve into his secret past to find the papers that have protected her and her family from an old enemy who is now bent on destroying the papers and her family with them and possibly lose the chance to ever build a relationship with her father?
